BY PRASENJIT SAHA AGARTALA: At least ten people including police officers sustained when a group of IPFT activists clashed with security forces in Tripura on Friday.
The clash took place at noon in Takarjala area in Sipajala district in the morning where a section of the tribal outfit's activists turned violent as they were on the way to join a poll rally. Some of them had an altercation with the local residents on the road and as the policemen on duty tried to deal with the mild quarrel, they turned violent and took on them. As many as three police officers fell injured. They have been admitted in the hospital for treatment.
