BPF gears up for Assembly election

With the Assam Assembly poll bound early next year, the ruling BPF party in BTAD gets a fresh lease of life when more than 800 BJP and PCDR members joined the party on Thursday in Kokrajhar.

Former minister and Kokrajhar east MLA Pramila Rani Brahma, Kokrajhar west MLA Pradip Kumar Brahma, former BTC executive member and Kokrajhar district BPF president Derhasat Basumatary, party leader Rajendra Nath Brahma felicitated and welcome newly joined members from BJP, PCDR,common publics under Kokrajhar west LAC segment with traditional Aronai and offered party membership forms formally at a function held at Serfanguri ME School ground on Thursday in Kokrajhar district.

Over 800 leaders,member and activists from BJP, PCDR from various VCDCs like Serfanguri,Nepalpara,Sialmari,Ramfalbil,Gosainichina and Habrubari under Dotma block of Kokrajhar west LAC segment of Kokrajhar district. Most of the joined peoples are from BJP and PCDR who are stepping towards the BPF as party was working for the all round development and integration of the region.

Former minister Brahma hailed the newly joined members in BPF party said her party was working on the social development and peoples changes since it's inception in the party line. She said her party has been stressing citizen's welfare and bringing of equal distribution among society. Brahma has claimed that her party is winning large number seats in which will be contesting.She has urged party activists o be dedicated while stepping to the ushering of party.

MLA Pradip Kumar Brahma said that his party has eyed peace and unity and working all round development and welfare for the common publics social change in the region. He has expressed his optimistic said his party is gaining its strength as irrespective of common  publics are stepping to support BPF party in the region.

The meeting was chaired by Sangkharlal Brahma, president Dotma block BPF.

Among others, Simsan Mushahary, secretary Kokrajhar district committee of BPF, Jamuna Rani Brahma,president of BPF women wing and senior party leaders were present.
