Anti-Terrorist Day at Maibang

The Army in association with the Dishru Cultural Club and Maibang Sports Association observes ‘Anti- Terrorist Day’ at Maibang in Dima Hasao district, Assam on May 16. In this connection ‘Run for peace’ is organized wherein more than 2000 students from various schools of Maibang area took part in the run. Col. C. Dayalon, CO, 17 JAK riffles flags off the Run for peace. This is followed by a spectacular Band Display by the NCC of Maibang Higher secondary School at Dishru Play ground in presence of huge gatherings.

Students of various schools of Maibang participate in singing and speech relating the peace and development in the area. Commanding Officer, 17 JAK stationed a t Maibang gives away token prizes to the participants while appreciating and encouraging them.
